("we", "us") operates a tool that converts PDF documents into Markdown. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible.
Information we collect
- Files you upload. The PDF you submit is processed solely to produce your Markdown output. It is held in temporary storage only for the duration of processing and is deleted automatically afterward. We do not retain your documents, and we do not use them to train any model.
- Payment information. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive your email address and a payment confirmation so we can fulfil and support your purchase.
- Basic technical data. Standard request logs (e.g. IP address, timestamp, error diagnostics) used to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
- To convert your file and deliver the result to you.
- To process payments and provide customer support.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug problems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded documents for advertising or model training.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of processors to run the service:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Cloudflare — site hosting, content delivery, and security.
- Modal — serverless compute that performs the PDF-to-Markdown conversion.
Each processes data only as needed to provide its part of the service.
Data retention
Uploaded files are deleted automatically after conversion. Payment and support records are kept only as long as needed for accounting, tax, and legal obligations.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you (primarily your email and payment records) by contacting us at . Depending on your location you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
